Who can join HBSA?
Any University of Houston student.
What are the most common majors?
Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, and Management Information Systems (MIS)
What are the requirements to be a member?
Be a UH student, fill out the HBSA Membership Application, and pay your Membership Dues.
How often are the general meetings?
Every two to three weeks
What are the benefits of joining?
Networking opportunities, professional workshops, corporate office visits, philanthropy opportunities, and meeting new people.
Who can run for office?
An active member who is: an HBSA paid member, holds a minimum GPA of 2.5, and is available to deal with any business concerning HBSA.
Is HBSA only for Hispanics?
No, we are open to everyone.
Do you have to be a business major to join HBSA?
No, all majors are welcomed.
